The team will share innovative approaches they developed for consistent accessibility testing and accessibility statement creation.” ## Digital Badges to Promote Accessibility of Course Materials and Recognize Accessibility Champions **Stephanie Richter, Director of Teaching Excellence and Support, Northern Illinois University.** “Accessibility doesn’t happen organically; it requires dedication and commitment to improve the accessibility of digital course materials. At Northern Illinois University, we developed a digital badge initiative to motivate faculty to use Anthology Ally to increase their overall course accessibility score by finding and fixing accessibility issues.
