### Improving Accessible Materials for the Success of Our Students **Presented by:** Jeanpierre Bayard Director Systemwide Learning Technologies & Services at California State University Office of the Chancellor | Jeremy Olguin Accessible Technology Manager at CSU Chico | Scott Ready Principle Ed Consultant at Blackboard The California State University Chancellor's Office implemented a 23-campus system-wide project to implement Blackboard Ally. Working together, the plan is to provide all campuses with the tools, training, and support to effectively and collaboratively implement Ally to ultimately makes course materials stored in Learning Management System (LMS) more accessible. This presentation will share the best practices and lessons learned from the CSU system-wide implementation of Ally to support and expand the commitment to the CSU Accessible Technology Initiative (ATI). Who are the stakeholders on campus in a project like this? What are the majority of remediation issues? Did this project improve the processes of identifying accessibility issues and improve instructional materials remediation? How did campuses choose to move forward in improving the accessibility of instructional materials?
